Edible lace recipe with corn starch
1 Tbsp. + 1/4 Cup water
1 Tbsp. Icing sugar
2 Tbsp. Corn starch
1/2 Tsp. Glycerine
2 Tsp. White food color (optional)
Mix icing sugar and corn starch with 1 Tbsp. of cold water in a small container.
Boil 1/4 cup of water in a small saucepan.
When the water begins to boil, remove from heat and mix in the icing sugar and corn starch mixture. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens up. (Around 1 minute.)
When the mixture is thick, remove from heat and add glycerine and white food color. Additional food coloring can be added at this time.
Use the mixture immediately for best results.
